GE Healthcare and Advanced Cyclotron Systems, Inc. (ACSI) Announce Memorandum of Understanding for High Energy Cyclotrons

VIENNA, AUSTRIA, OCTOBER 10, 2010 – GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) and Advanced Cyclotron Systems, Inc. (ACSI), a world leader in the design and manufacturing of cyclotron equipment, announced today their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore opportunities for collaboration on High Energy (24 and 30 MeV) cyclotrons and related equipment, during this year’s European Association of Nuclear Medicine Congress (EANM) being held in Vienna, Austria. 

ACSI Sells 24 MeV Cyclotron to IPHC a research institute belonging to the University of Strasbourg and CNRS, the National Center for Scientific Research, Strasbourg, France

Vancouver, BC Canada – (September 27, 2010) – Advanced Cyclotron Systems Inc. (ACSI) a leading provider of cyclotron solutions, today announced that it has recently sold a TR24 (a 24 MeV cyclotron) to IPHC (Institut Pluridisciplinaire Hubert Curien) a research unit belonging both to the University of Strasbourg one of the major university of France and CNRS, the National Center for Scientific Research in Alsace, France, one of the largest fundamental research organizations in Europe.
