R&D Project Coordinator - Radiochemistry and Targetry
Responsibilities:
You will be part of the R&D team that develops new cyclotron targetry and automated radiochemistry modules. As project coordinator you are responsible for planning, coordinating and executing complex multi-disciplinary R&D projects. You will ensure that projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and meet or surpass specifications. Collaborate with researchers at various cyclotron facilities and coordinate interdisciplinary research activities with labs and universities. You will prepare product documents, manuals and R&D reports. As a team member of the ACSI Radiochemistry and Targetry Group you will be involved in ongoing company projects, installation and commissioning of equipment and the implementation of new designs.
Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD degree in chemistry, physicsor engineering (chemical or physics);
- Minimum10 years experience working in research or industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience in leading and/or managing R&D projects
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team or independently
- Occasional travel
Expertise in one the following areas is an asset:
- Accelerator targetry design and radiochemistry
- Design and operation of automated systems and modules for processing and synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals
- Radiopharmacy and knowledge of GMP regulations
