RF Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities and duties
Independently or in collaboration with other members of the ACSI engineering group the RF engineer will be responsible for:
- Design, production, assembly, and testing of the RF Power Amplifiers, RF Resonators, and RF Controls System.
- Commissioning of the RF Systems.
- Providing training to the cyclotrons operators.
- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing the RF Systems.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for 1-5 weeks at a time (approx 30% travel) to customer sites.
Qualifications and skills
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, engineering physics, or a related field.
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in RF Systems for accelerators.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and servicing of RF equipment, high power vacuum tube technology or solid state amplifiers will be considered assets.
