RF Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities and duties

Independently or in collaboration with other members of the ACSI engineering group the RF engineer will be responsible for:

  • Design, production, assembly, and testing of the RF Power Amplifiers, RF Resonators, and RF Controls System.
  • Commissioning of the RF Systems.
  • Providing training to the cyclotrons operators.
  • Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing the RF Systems.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for 1-5 weeks at a time (approx 30% travel) to customer sites.

Qualifications and skills

  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, engineering physics, or a related field.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with experience in RF Systems for accelerators.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and servicing of RF equipment, high power vacuum tube technology or solid state amplifiers will be considered assets.
